Three ways to keep going during a challenging time.


Welcome back to ‘Three Thoughts Thursday’ Within this weekly blog I will share the three thoughts that have been at the front of my mind over the last few days. I hope these three thoughts can be of benefit to you. This week my thoughts centre around keeping a strong mind during challenging times.


Clear thinking

I try to ask myself as quickly as possible when facing a challenge: What am I really worried about that is real? Often by the time I have asked myself this question, I have overthought a situation with far worse consequences. Once I have answered this question I am clearer in my thinking.


One thing at a time

You can move a situation forward in tough times by focusing on one thing at a time. Through this approach, you can put all your skill, focus, and energy into an activity that you will have more than enough of whatever is required to succeed and progress.


Just keep going

Sir Winston Churchill's quote ‘If your going through hell just keep going’ provides great insight into the mind of one of Britain’s most resilient leaders. With the same mentality as my point on one thing at a time if you can keep going you will have enough to make progress and succeed.


Whatever you are doing today always believe in yourself.
